چکیده
This study investigated the relationship between vertical and horizontal jumping ability change of direction (COD) to measure athletic performance in 51 elite male handball players. Scope. Countermovement jump (CMJ), peak power, standing long (SLJ) were measured. Participants performed a 20-m sprint test (time measured at 5, 10, 20 m) zigzag (COD: 135°, 90°, 45°). The COD deficit, an index time required for COD, was calculated. correlations CMJ height times relatively large (at r = − 0.607; 0.594; 45°, 0.613; p < 0.01), whereas those deficit moderate 0.399, 0.01; 0.350, 0.05; 0.323, 0.05). SLJ showed negative correlation with 0.439, 0.469, 0.380, 0.01). is first analyse parameters We found that moderately related deficit; therefore, measurement may be useful predictor performance.
